• My ten year journey (2007-17) founding and then managing Kingsbarns Distillery gives me a special & unique insight into the Scotch Whisky industry that I can’t wait to share with you (or your clients) on our journey together.

• For the last 3 years I’ve been leading groups of up to 12 people around Scotland on golf and whisky tours.
• My customised tours (for example The Fife Whisky Tour, A Speyside Tour, An Islay Tour or A Hebridean Trail) are ideal for groups of friends, families or whisky clubs who want something truly unique.
• I can do as much or as little as you like although I’d really love to help you get the most out of your precious time in Scotland.
• Whether it is designing your route or booking your accommodation, attractions, tours, tastings, festivals and restaurants….you can leave it all to me!
• In 2024 I was invited back to the Kingsbarns Distillery to host private evening “Founder” tours, tastings and whisky dinners. I’d be overjoyed to do the same for you (or your clients)…

• As a whisky lover myself I’ve visited 60 or so Scottish distilleries so far and whisky festivals both at home (Whisky Fringe in Edinburgh, Glasgow Whisky Festival, Speyside Whisky Festival, Fife Whisky Festival) and abroad (Whisky Live Paris, Whisky Live The Hague in Holland, Limburg Whisky Fair in Germany, Whiskyschiff Luzern in Switzerland, Spirits in the Sky in Belgium)

• I am proud member of both the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and St Andrews Quaich Society as well as being an Aqvavitae Barfly.
• As I drive you around around Scotland I’ll share with you very some special drams (eg Kingsbarns, Daftmill) from my private collection.
• I hold a post graduate diploma in “Distillation” from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh.

• I’ve been recognised for my whisky work by Visit Scotland who named me their “Tourism & Hospitality Hero”, Dunhill Links who named me one of their “local heroes”, Whisky Magazine who shortlisted me for their Whisky Distillery Visitor Centre Manager of the Year Award and Fife Council bestowed upon me the honour of being a Fife Ambassador for my region.
• I own my own luxury Mercedes 8-seater sprinter bus configuered perfectly so that your group can relax comfortably with a dram in hand while we journey around Scotland together.
• As a keen photographer and drone videographer I will capture our tour together, share the content with you and with your permission create a short film of our trip.
